ABOUT US
Rethinking the role of General Counsel
At Waypoint GC, we believe legal should do more than identify problems.
Legal should help businesses make better decisions.
Waypoint GC was created for companies that have reached a point where legal issues have become too important, too complex or too numerous to manage reactively—but aren't ready to hire a full-time General Counsel.
We provide the experience and judgment of senior in-house legal leadership through a flexible fractional model.
A BUSINESS-MINDED APPROACH TO LEGAL.
LEADERSHIP
Josefina Eizayaga / Founder & Fractional General Counsel
Josefina Eizayaga is a corporate and transactional attorney with more than 15 years of international legal experience advising companies, investors and executives on M&A, private equity investments, corporate governance, commercial transactions and cross-border strategy.
Her experience spans the United States and international markets, with particular expertise in technology and commercial transactions, SaaS and cloud agreements, data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property and corporate matters.
As a General Counsel, Josefina has worked closely with executive leadership to manage legal risk, negotiate strategic transactions, build compliance frameworks and support businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions.
She brings a practical, business-oriented approach to legal advice: understanding the objective, identifying the risk, evaluating the options and helping management make the decision.
Josefina is admitted to practice in Florida, New York and Argentina.
A GLOBAL NETWORK. ONE ACCOUNTABLE LEADER.
Waypoint GC does not try to be every specialist.
When a matter requires specific expertise or local counsel, we help identify and coordinate the appropriate legal resources.
You get access to the right expertise without losing the benefit of one person who understands the whole business.
